| Big disappointment! |

The information and photos on the hotel Web Site were misleading, to say the least. The private car park hasn't existed for a while and the whole place is in dire need of a face lift (paint flaking off, worn carpets, badly fitting windows...) The radiators in our room were broken, so we had to sleep with the windows open (not easy with all the road works and constant hum of traffic). We had to ask for the right number of towels because they only lay out enough for one person (this point has been mentioned by other guests too). The shower door fitted badly, so the bathroom floor was soaked afterwards. The breakfast was quite copious, for the price, but the coffee was disgusting. If you're just looking for a cheapish roof over your head, look no further, but don't book here for a romantic weekend away! |
