Top Local Tips for Bordeaux
Sunday market Go down to the river on Sunday and walk the length of the market. We had fantastic empanadas from guys from Ecuador, local cheeses, and amazing oysters. The oysters were a steal - baker's dozen and 4 glasses of wine for 12Euro.
Vineyard trips Check out the organised tours via the Bordeaux tourism website, they offer trips to selected vineyards (as well as other places) almost daily and weekends. Book in advance via online to secure a place. The trips are conducted in both French and English. Reasonable pricing. And friendly staff at the main Bordeaux office.
