I've spent a year in Avignon to study french
This family hotel provides studios, for a good rate, including all taxes. That was nice to live in the Monclar avenue, good location, and owners are like a second family.
Thanks for all

I totally agree with Caroline. It's a budget hotel, so I didn't expect too much from the beginning. However, the attitude of the staff really put me off. The old guy was great. I feel sorry for him because he has such bad staff. The young ones are terrible. They were unhelpful and rude. I would tell my friends not to go there, not because of the faciltiles but the staff.
Quirky !

We chose this budget hotel for its closeness to the Central train station and bus station, but unfortunately it was TOO close for comfort to the trains-roaring through the station all day and most of the night right next to our bedroom window and constant announcements made sleep almost impossible (too noisy and scary with window open, too hot with them closed as no air-con)The pleasant shady garden was available to use as a picnic area or have a glass of wine but the constant attentions of a cat trying to eat your dinner was annoying.Room small and quirky-some had no toilet and guests had to use the one down the corridor;some had no shower and guests charged 3euros to take one -with the heat here it could prove expensive!Towels changed every day but very rough ! Breakfast buffet extra at 8euros plus but not a great selection. Staff friendly and informative about places to visit. Avignon great, also St Remy, Isle sur la sorgue,Orange and Arles all within one hour on the bus. Aix a little disappointing but still worth a visit. All in all a reasonable hotel in a noisy but central location.
Good address

I had no booking, but I could find a nice room at good price. I was surprised because Avignon is very busy in July because of the festival. I was lucky, and I really enjoyed my stay there.

The hotel is just next too (almost under) a train overpass and it looks run down. All would have been forgiven if the staff had been friendly, but they were the worst we encountered on our whole trip. I currently live in France and do not mind simply unfriendly...but this was horrible. Don't stay here.
Nice welcome, beautiful and charming XVIII century building

Surprising hotel which is not facing the street but a beautiful and quiet garden. The building is exactly the kind of one we are looking for in the "old france". Staff is very kind and can speak several languages (even japanese !) Breakfast in the garden with cute kittens. Some studios and appartments are available. Just try it !
