This is underpinned by the proprieter's mother's recent death. We had booked a room and confirmed dinner was available in the restaurant prior to going. On arrival we were told we could not have dinner as the owners mother had died. This was totally unacceptable to us as we had been travelling for a long time and didn't want to drive somewhere else for dinner. The owner refused to return our deposit despite accepting our point that the booking was on the basis of the restaurant being open - allround we were very disappointed. We inspected the bedroom which was very basic and did not warrant a 2 star rating from Logis of France. We moved on to much improved accomodation nearby minus our deposit - a very unhappy experience! Not somewhere I would ever recommend to anyone.
