Top Local Tips for Agde

Getting to and from the airport Use the bus (4 Euros compared with 25Euros or more by taxi), but CHECK THE TIMETABLE - the timetable changed during our stay, so we missed the return bus. Moreover, if you DO use a taxi, agree a price up front - we phoned for a taxi and agreed a price of 30 Euros for the 2 of us (normally it's 25 Euros, but, having missed the bus to the airport, we were in a hurry and they charged accordingly!!). Having subsequently come across 2 people in a similar situation to us and who were therefore happy to share the taxi ride, the taxi driver upped his price to 50 Euros en route, cos there was now 4 of us!!!

great restaurants there only 10 mini cabs available at any one time and only two of a night which serve three towns my advise is to hire a car or book your cab three to four days early if travelling back to the airport
