Typical monopoly situation: Waltikka is the only hotel in town, so the many business travellers don't have a choice. There hasn't been any visible improvement during the last few years. It's not very clean, the decoration is shabby and old, breakfast is poor, no wireless Internet connection in the rooms, shower booths are falling apart, ancient TV system, ... (could go on). Only two positive aspects come to mind: Friendly staff and not too small rooms. To sum up: It's not even worth half of the current price of 100 Euros per night.
