The hotel is ideally located, with relation to Old Town: it is literally at the foot of Old Town and directly in front of a very convenient Tram/Streetcar Line. This was my first criteria in choosing this hotel, but is unfortunately the only criteria I would understand why one would choose such a hotel. The price difference of 10Euro, between this Hotel and the Reval or Ravel Hotel in Tallinn, is nothing compared to the difference in service and what one actually gets: the breakfast in the Hotel Skane was quite sparse and the room we had (a Double Room) was tiny. The Bathroom was the worst! It was tiny (read: cramped). The shower curtain was useless; and, it kept overflowing leaving the entire bathroom floor wet. The worst part is: albeit the showerhead is the 'telephone-like' contraption typical in Europe, it did not stay in place at all and swiveled all the time.
