The best stuff ever!

We found the hotel via internet. As travelers who stay a lot in hotels, we admired the stuff, mainly the reception stuff. So willing to help and so friendly. The rooms very clean, the hotel is a new one (2004) and the price deal was very good. Walking to the old city easy and fun.

We stayed at the hotel l'ermitage during feb 2005. Fantastic quality, definately worth more than 3 stars. I visit Tallinn every year and will always stay here in future..the location is perfect for the city centre nightlife too!!

Top Local Tips for Tallinn

Great Greek Tavern up the hill from the hotel, next to the Nevski-cathedral lies a greek tavern, called Syrtaki. Go there! go there and eat food that will thrill your senses!! :) Excellent food, great big portions and friendly staff. It was just magnificent

Out and around the Old Town Just a general observation. There are a number of beer carrying, vodka drinking, overall loud obnoxious youths (and older) who seem to congregate near the parks and walkways between the gates of the old town (near the McDonalds) and the new town, they appear to be locals. I probably would not let my guard down in this area, there does not seem to be a lot of police vigilance and we traveled outside of tourist season.

Sightseeing A NUMBER OF CHURCHES, MUSEUMS AND THE LIKE.SOME OF THE EATING ESTABLISHMNTS PROVIDE ENTERTAINMENT
