"Booking number", I explained.
"Where is the printout, you need a printout?"
"You have the booking number."
"Passports! Both passports!" She virtually screamed at us. I was so taken aback by this level of rudeness I found it impossible to retort. We where then sent to a room that overlooked a carpark and the bow of a ferry. We got little sleep and asked a considerably friendlier receptionist to move us which she did. The rooms have prison style numbers on the door and are little bigger than cells. The curtains allow in the majority of light from windows albeit filtering that light into nauseatingly lurid colours. I believe you pay for what you get, but Portus makes sure you know you're not getting much. It is sub-Formule 1 and that takes some trying. Stay at the Reval up the road, nicer, friendlier and roughly the same. For an extra 10-15 a night you can do considerably better. Unless you are a paraletic Finn who's interests only extend as far as the Rimi Grog shop 50 metres away you'll be sadly disappointed with your stay!
