Wonderful Food, Excellent courteous staff,clean and tidy. Restricted car parking and small bedroom. I will go back in two weeks.Very quiet and close to the city centre if that is what you seek.

Top Local Tips for Tallinn

Taxis from airport Most tourist guides will tell you that the cost of a taxi from the airport is about 70k, this is rubbish as the taxi drivers will go on as long a detour as they can our trip from the airport took 40 minutes and cost 300k with a tip, the return trip took 20 mins and cost 150k + a tip. There is no way you can get for 70k as the meter starts with a basic charge of 75k.

The Beer House Visited this establishment twice. The first occassion was o.k. but our second visit was dire. The food was poor and the response was a quick shrug of the shoulders by the waitress and that was it. This is a theme pub don't forget and you fall foul of everything that you would back here in the UK. There are far better places to eat and drink than this.

Tallinn Card If you're there for more than a day and plan on doing a city bus tour/guided tour/visiting various museums/using public transport - then get a Tallinn card. We got a 72hr card each (450EEK each) and we reckon we probably got about 900-1000 EEK of value out of each card. Note that the 2008 deals aren't as good as the 2007 deals - but still good value.
