This hotel seems to be a revamp of an older hotel, which catered for families and traditional seaside holidays. Now it wants to be an upmarket spa hotel with prices to match but still relying on its traditional clientele. Come for peace and relaxation it brochure proclaims and then invites you to take dinner in the middle of a playground. One or the other would be fine but not both.
