I stayed in the Hotel Selandia during a heat wave in Copenhagen. There was no air conditoning in the room and no fan was available for use. The room must have been about 35 degrees Centigrade and absolutely unbearable. The window overlooked a courtyard below which served a large apartment building with people coming and going through the night. When I opened the window to try and get some air, the noise made it impossible to sleep. The hotel needs to be better prepared for weather changes such as heatwaves and problems of external noise by installing fans or air conditioners.
