Price and location - Good
I have stayed serveral times in the Absalon Hotel and the Annex aswell. The hotel is very centrally located, few steps from the Central Train Station in Copenhagen, but still away enough so there is no disturbance from trains. The street is shubby, an old sex-drug sort of street but still no problem and totally safe. The price is among the best I've got in Copenhagen, but it's budget, meaning that it's simple rooms with modest everything. It's clean and the breakfast is good. The staff is very helpful and give this hotel an extra plus. When I need a cheep bed to throw myself down into, right in the center of Copenhagen, The Absolon is where I go.

Pleasant but could be improved
Hotel staff friendly, reception staff very helpful.
Room was dusty causing me to constantly sneeze. The showerhead in the bathroom was faulty and no soap was provided in the soap dispenser and although this was brought to the attention of reception staff it was not rectified for the few days we were there. Breakfast was good. Hotel is very central.
