have stayed many times over pasy 13 months and a tired old style hotel in heart of small town of Randers. Food usually overseasoned and always overpriced. 'Chef' unhelpful and ambitions of dishes outside of his level of skills. Desk staff and housekeeping usually very helpful and the only real redeeming feature of this hotel. Unfortunately not much choice of larger hotels in Randers but wouldn't use this one unless no choice.

This is not a hotel but a hostel. The rooms are very basic and worn with dirty curtains. The shared shower room was discraceful. Dirty, ancient with dead plants on the windowsill. No shampoo etc. Queing for a shower with other guests in a shabby corridor is not something I would choose to do again. Although beakfast was good and the coffee was excellent. The biggest shock was the bill. 800 Danish Kroner (equivalent to £100). The hostess insisted that I pay the rate for a double room. £100!!!!!! A complete rip-off, criminal. Avoid this place.
