Visited daughter teaching English in Prague. Took train to Tabor. Found the Palcat to be something like we'd never seen before. Very spartan but clean and well appointed. One meal was good. Stayed over a weekend when the town was pretty much shut down but was fun to walk around and eat in the few open restaurants. Spent an afternoon relaxing in the room with comfort. I remember it as a great setting to catch up with our daughter in a very foreign environment giving us a taste of the communist setting.
