A driving nightmare in Prague DO NOT DRIVE INTO PRAGUE!. The drivers are absolute maniacs with nor regard for signs or stoplights. They are rude and do not abide anyone doing less than 50 mph inside the city. The parking situation is insane. Nowhere to park and the few places that offer it (like the train station) charge an arm and a leg. I paid $48 per day for parking and worried the whole time that my car would be burglarized. There's a reason most rental car agencies will not allow you to drive into the Czech Republic. On the other hand, the public transportation system is easy to use and gets you everywhere with a minimum of hassle. It is also a rather easy city to walk. Most of the major sites are located in the same part of town.
