We just stayed at this hotel last weekend, and were very happy with it. Our room was as described in other reviews - spacious, clean, excellent shower, and it was very quiet as well. I agree with others that tea/coffee facilities would have been nice, and windows that open (even in winter) are essential for getting rid of stuffy air. The hotel is very close to Wenceslas Square - only a 5 to 10 minute walk, and lots of restaurants and shops there. The staff were very helpful with storing our luggage and ordering Cedex taxis for the airport. We LOVED Prague, and will definitely be back to both the city and this hotel!
a lovely hotel

We stayed in this hotel for a weekend and found it had everything you would want, it is close to the square, and easy to walk around. The sauna and whirlpool I found to be expensive to use, but the breakfast was brillant and the staff were friendly, I woulk use this hotel again.
who writes these reviews????

Hotel seven days was okay but all these five out of fives makes me wonder who writes these reviews. The location, whilst near to a few great bars, is some way from the old town (a bit of a pain!) and the room we stayed in was clean but lacked character. The breakfast was good though I've had better and the staff reasonably friendly.
Top spot

Followed the advice of TripAdvisor users and spent five days at the Seven Days. Didn't regret it.
A short walk takes you right into the heart of modern Prague, making this place an ideal spot - not completely central (so you can avoid any rowdiness) but definitely close enough to feel in the middle of things.
A locked window was my main complaint, and reception staff weren't falling over themselves to help when I enquired about fixing this problem. Other staff were good, though, as was the breakfast.

Outstanding hotel

After a long trip around Europe we finished here. Excellent hotel in terms of room, breakfast and service. very handy to everything. House bar a bit expensive but there are some lovely cheap bar/restaurants on the side streets leading to Wencelas Sq. When in Prague get off the main streets and you will alway find great value for money.
Very comfortable

The Seven Days was a great place to stay for our visit to Prague. It's a 5 minute walk to 2 underground stations, and 3 blocks from the top of the main street and the museum. A great location to explore the city on foot from. We walked, or took the metro to everywhere we wanted to go - easily. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms have excellent ammenities. The breakfast buffet is great! Plenty of selection for all in our party! There is quite a $50 fee to use the whirlpool - so take note.We would definitely stay here again! Overall a great place!
Take a Travel iron
from Typhoon
I stayed here yesterday and although I booked and paid for a Queen bed room was told there were none available and had to have a twin. The lights in the hallway didnt work ( I know you push the timers in) so getting the keycard in the door slot was interesting. The room was nice very noisy junction outside though. Bathroom made up for the other problems very clean. Make sure you take a travel iron they dont have irons or ironing boards and they charged me £8.00 to iron a T-shirt and jeans ( the same cost to have them laundered). The walk down to the old town is interesting due to prositutes and men handing out fliers for strip joints ( make a that a plus or a minus yourselves.)
Absolutely Fabulous

Great, great, great......could find no fault at all with this hotel. Room was huge - the bathroom was vast - and luxurious. Food was amazing, and the set menu for dinner very reasonably priced. Staff were attentive and polite. All in all I felt like royalty when I was staying there...and the location was excellent.

My partner Peter and I loved the seven days. The gym was great and it was a shame the bar closes early. It's only ten minute walk from the main square which means it dead quiet but no chance of a night cap. Peter and I love a jog in the morning and there is no threat of being mugged. The people are fantatic and the blond receptionist we nicked named 'Karloff' could smile more often, then again no one was smiling more then Pete and I went he said' Sorry, I only have a queen bed'.
Great, apart from other guests

This Hotel, as stated before is in a fantastic location, right in the center of the city.
Prague is a wonderful city and this Hotel is an ideal base. We stayed here from 10/22 - 10/24 but my sleep was disturbed because some idiot kept calling our rooms at all hours. I complained to the management and they soon put a stop to it.
Also some overweight English guy used some choice words during his conversations with his buddies over Breakfast. Apart from this I would say if you have chosen this Hotel for your stay in Prague, well done! you will love it.

Top Local Tips for Prague
The Opulent Municipal House! Visit the magnificent Municipal House and take lunch (or another meal, as long as you don't miss the cakes!) at Kavárna Obecní D?m (the ground floor café). You are up for a wonderful experience in excuisite Czech Art Nouveau-surroundings! Not very cheap, but fair prices - absolutely worth the visit!
especially for ladies don't wear stiletto type shoes your heels get stuck in the block paving which is everywhere
airport transport Get on a bus outside the airport (no 119, i think) which takes you direct to metro stop then jump on the metro to the city centre only 50 pence each!

Breakfasts were very good, hot and cold buffet food, cereals, toast, fresh fruit etc.
The Hotel was exellently placed, 5 min to Wenceslas Square,15 - 20 min to the old Square and Charles Bridge. The staff were exellent, giving directions, booking tours, Taxis etc. We couldnt fault this Hotel at all and would certainly recommend it to anyone.
