My wife and I recently stayed 4 nights(Monday to Friday). Our room was immaculately clean and had recently been refurbished. We even had underflooring heating in the tiled bathroom. The bed was two 3'-6" beds push together, so plenty of room. The breakfast was advertised as "continental" but had everything including a hot buffet. Best value city centre hotel we have stayed in.

Top Local Tips for Prague

Prague airport shuttle - Very mixed experience. Excellent service on arrival. No service at all for departure. After waiting 20 mins we contacted them and were told that they would get back to us. They texted an apology that their vehicle had broken down and we were advised to make our own alternative arrangements. Fortunately the hotel was able to fix things for us. Not sure I would use Prague airport shuttle again.

Church of Saint Cyril and Methodius - story of Czech paratroopers' bravery An understated, fascinating and very moving exhibition at the very site at which brave Czech paratroopers were captured by the Nazis (taking their own lives rather than being captured) after their attempt to assassinate Reinhard Heydrich, “The Butcher of Prague”. The story of the barbaric reprisals by the Nazis on Czech villages is a bitter reminder of the atrocities we humans are capable of committing. A must see for those interested in the all-too-recent history of Prague and the Czech Republic.
