This hotel is just the best!
from FdpmThe staff greeting upon arrival was excellent with the girl on the desk taking lots of time to explain where everything was... then we were shown to our room. The door key is wierd and takes a bit of getting used to but once inside the room, no worries - the heated floor in the bathroom is v. nice particularly after getting out of the shower - and the kettle and free tea bags and coffee a delightful extra - 'specially for us Brits who like a cuppa tea in the morning! The beds were very comfortable with crisp white cotton duvets and big fluffy crispy cotton pillows! Good air-conditioning with easy to use thermostat. Nice decor and lighting and then to top it all, a brand new state of the art Flatscreen TV that had Sky Movies on as well as the usual euro fare... mtv, eurosport et al.
Breakfast was excellent with them catering for all tastes - we were able to fuel up for the day with bacon, sausage, mushroom, tomato and eggs as well as hams, cheeses, bagels, croissants, toasts, cereals and yoghurts so the earlier comment about lousy choice was ???
We also partook of a couple of evening meals in the Bistro Bar with Petra serving us a delectable meal on each evening - the chocolate ice-cream is to die for! (Yes I am a foodie!)
Prague is a lovely city that is easily walkable with wow sights around almost every corner - we felt safe walking about in the evening and would highly recommend the church concerts - we attended a Mozart Requiem performance in the Salvator Church and have to say it merited 9/10 !!!
Finally, in praise of the hotel - this is definitely a five star staffing within a five star location and a five star accomodation and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel to you!
And if you get the chance, chat to Petra in the Bistro Bar - she was very sweet and extremely helpful... good service too!
Wonderful Hotel

from TravelsingerSuperb hotel!
from A TripAdvisor Membergreat location, great hotel
from tomrabbitThe modestly sized room was quiet and spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed, and big fluffy quilt and pillows. Bathroom was also spotless, with under floor heating. Buffet breakfast was excellent (be sure to try the cinammon wrap pastries!). Bar was expensive, but as we chose to eat/drink out every night, this was not an issue. Would definitely return to this hotel.
Best of Prague
from MDemonHotel rooms are small, but have everything you would need. Nice Interior and furniture. Love the heated floor in the bathroom.
1 more good thing is that it is only 5 mins walk from CEDAZ (the minibus to airport, and cost only $5 USD 1 way - save you a lot of money)
Great Hotel
from A TripAdvisor MemberThe staff were very helpful all through our stay and would go out of their way to help you when they could. The rooms were a little smaller than expected but nevertheless containing everything you needed and a little more.
The Hotel is ideal for a short break and the location is perfect as it’s located on a quiet road but still only a few minutes away from the main squares and attractions.
Fantastic location, lovely hotel
from KayJay20The rooms and bathrooms (love the heated bathroom floor!) aren't massive but they are very nicely appointed and are a better size than some other european hotels I've stayed in.
Breakfast was lovely - there was a great selection of items and the art nouveau breakfast room really is something special.
A Well kept secret
from UncleTravellingMatTop Local Tips for Prague
Shop around Explore all the little streets and alleyways for those hidden gems. There are a multitude of places to eat but you will find that if you go to some of the larger establishments especially those in the old town square opposite the Astronomical Clock you will pay far higher prices than you need to.
Watch your step Be very careful after it has rained, the granite sets that make up most of the roads and pavement get very slippery, I saw several people fall , in particular in the Wencelas square area.
Cedaz shuttle This is an inexpensive way to get back and forth from airport to city. Depending on where you are staying, you can then walk, take the subway, or take a taxi. Runs every half-hour or so, only 120 K (as of 3/08). Fast and convenient.
