The one redeeming feature of this hotel is its location, within walking distance of all the attractions. Sheets are changed every six days, towels every three days, beds are cot-size and when the beer cellar below closes at 4 AM the noise is terrific. No phones in the room, lots of stairs to climb with bags. Staff is obliging, and the breakfast ample but this ancient hotel is definitely overpriced.

The hotel is overpriced for the accomodation and service it offers. First of all, they have a policy of changing towels every three days, which is wierd. They don't give you soap for showering. If you carry a heavy suitcase, good luck climbing to the second floor. The girls at the reception desk are nice but not strong to help you with this matter. The beds are so small that seemed designed for a 5 year old child. The breakfast area is run by unfriendly people and it is not pleasant waking up to see their faces. Finally, it is the only hotel I am aware of that makes you pay in advance for everything.
