Top Local Tips for Prague

Getting around Prague If you enjoy nature walks as well as photography I recommend that you wake up very early to avoid crowds in Prague. There are excessive tourists by the time that noon arrives and you will not be able to walk unimpaired anywhere except in non tourists areas like the Greens across the Vtlava. I found the greens in FODOR and highly recommend the walk across the Vtlava if you enjoy photography and uncrowded areas.

THE CASTLE AND cathederal. Well this can be a con.... we queued to pay to get into the castle its quite expensive, then they insist you buy a hearing phone thing that tells you the history in the language of your choice. We went to go into 2 exhibitions and soon realised that we had to pay again. so we choose not to go in them. Whilst walking around the Castle and amazing Cathederal we realised that enterance was free except to the two exhibitions we choose not to go in as we thought it cost more money.. on the way out we were told it was free we were very cross that the lack of understanding the language cost us alot of money, however, its amazing..
