First visit to Prague - we stayed here on personal recommendation and were not disappointed. Hotel in excellent location, both for public transport and walking (about 25 mins to Old Town Square). It was very cold when we visited and the hotel was always warm with plenty of hot water whenever we needed it. Our room was quite spacious - on the 3rd floor. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good but would not recommend eating in the restaurant.

Top Local Tips for Prague

Con men We were approached a couple of times by people offering to change money for us, it was obviously some sort of scam. If you get your cash from an ATM, you wont be cheated!

Prague public transportation Buy a 7 day pass and ride the metro, bus or trams as much as you like for a very reasonable price!

Tours of Prague/Wittman Tours/Tereizine and Jewish Prague tours We used Wittman Tours, and they are absolutely stellar. We booked both the Jewish Tour and the Terezine Concentration camp tour. Our guide for the Jewish tour was a Rabbi and he was superb. The terzine tour was a private tour with a survivor of that camp as well as three OTHER camps. Amazing man and amazing tour. No other tours could possibly compare to these. Silvie Wittman owns and runs the tour company and helped us purchase an authentic Tallis for our son, and was helpful and the nicest woman we met in Prague. We cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about this tour company. The best.
