I have stayed at the hotel on two occasions, September 2006 and Sep 2007, we stayed at the hotel as a group of 14 plus 13-16 and we all found the hotel of acceptable standards with helpful and presentable staff, the presentation of the hotel could be better, but it is satisfactory for our needs. The breakfast was reasonable and the best part of the hotel is by far the location !!!

I want an inexpensive friendly hotel in the right place. Hotel Koruna was exactly that. Yes it could hav ebenefitted from a lick of paint to som etired ares or decoration, but I wanted to com eto Prague, not sit in a hotel room. Service was very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast as good as any in Europe for this grade of hotel. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to see Prague. The location is unbelieveable. Even with children aged 3 and 4 we got to see the whole city.

Yes, I found everything to be sufficient. But the staff were very helpful and friendly. It’s so good to have a smiling face to greet you.

The rating (three stars) is far away from the truth about the hotel. There is no shampoo in the bathrooms and you don´t get although you have asked several times to get it. The rooms are VERY dirty. You don´t always get warm water in the shower. Non smoking-rooms smell as if someboby smokes there all the time.

We stayed at this hotel from 28/12/05-02/01/06. This hotel dosnt get great reviews but this hotel is a great place to stay, Rooms are very basic but tidy and where cleaned every day and they make a big efort at running this very old hotel, Breakfast is again basic but nice and plentiful. You couldent get a better location, some good pubs and cafes/ resteraunts just minutes away. Just 5-10 minutes to wenceslas square & old town square.
