Excellent Hotel Florenc
We really enjoyed Prague, helped by staying in the excellent Florenc hotel. The staff were very courteous, the room was large, very clean and warm, and the breakfast was excellent.
The lift was slow but this was not a problem - my partner tried to beat the lift up 5 floors and lost! Highly recommend.
The Hotel is right next to the Florenc Metro station. It is easy to get the bus from the airport then the Metro to the hotel.

Excellent base, good value
We found the Florenc Hotel ideal for our city break. Located 15 minutes walk from the old town but if you feel lazy the direct metro station is only 2 minutes away. Larger than normal simply furnished rooms with TV an fan. Excellent bathroom and room cleaned thoroughly daily.The reception staff were wonderful both friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was plentiful but limited. A small but pleasant bar selling cheap drinks. Rooms do not have tea making facilities or a hairdryer as stated on hotels website. All round excellent value. Use Cedaz minibus when you arrive at airport takes you direct and collects you from the hotel for a very reasonable cost. A very efficient service.

Good position and value
More of a budget price 3star hotel. The rooms were basic but comfortable and bathroom was clean and adequate. Breakfast was cold buffet style and there was ample to start off the day. The lift was very slow and subject to long waits. Best point was location situated 15 minutes walk from the tourist area but with easy access to all parts of Prague with the metro and tram stop being just around the corner. Ideal accommodation for a short city sightseeing break.
