Not a 5 star hotel!
A nice enough hotel - But definitely not 5 star. It's important to note when travelling to Prague, that hotels set their own star ratings - this one is definitely exaggerating a bit. Staff were friendly enough, but not 5 star service at all - not even basic hotel features, such as an iron in the room were included - and all their double beds appear to be two singles pushed together - with two separate single sheets! - Not an awful hotel, but not a top one either, making it expensive for what it is, not a genuine 5 star hotel, probably should be more a high 3.

Splendor of the Golden Age
This is a beautifully restored hotel, just minutes from all the sites including Wenceslas square, the State Museum, and the old square. The breakfast is a wonderful treat in the grand dining room, with one-of-a-kind chandelier. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Luxurious and pleasant stay, but...
Convenient and quiet place, everything was fine. The restaurant was also well qualified and comfortable. However the taxi to the airport the hotel booked for us took longer way and more money than from the airport. The driver came up from inside of the hotel so I trusted, which was wrong, but the hotel also should have some responsibility about if taxis do their business properly for their customers. Our impression of Prague turned worse at the last moment because of the taxi.

Convenient Location/Pleasant Stay
Well situated hotel, staff very pleasant, bar a bit pricey from down the road, but what do you expect - that is quite normal in hotels. Luxurious furniture etc., etc., very nice room - 7th floor, bathroom very spacious and all very clean.
