The hotel was excellent - centrally located - well equipped bedroom and great shower. Good value! Really enjoyed our 4 nights stay - Highly Recommended
Not a 5 star hotel!

A nice enough hotel - But definitely not 5 star. It's important to note when travelling to Prague, that hotels set their own star ratings - this one is definitely exaggerating a bit. Staff were friendly enough, but not 5 star service at all - not even basic hotel features, such as an iron in the room were included - and all their double beds appear to be two singles pushed together - with two separate single sheets! - Not an awful hotel, but not a top one either, making it expensive for what it is, not a genuine 5 star hotel, probably should be more a high 3.

This is a beautifully restored hotel, just minutes from all the sites including Wenceslas square, the State Museum, and the old square. The breakfast is a wonderful treat in the grand dining room, with one-of-a-kind chandelier. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Luxurious and pleasant stay, but...

Convenient and quiet place, everything was fine. The restaurant was also well qualified and comfortable. However the taxi to the airport the hotel booked for us took longer way and more money than from the airport. The driver came up from inside of the hotel so I trusted, which was wrong, but the hotel also should have some responsibility about if taxis do their business properly for their customers. Our impression of Prague turned worse at the last moment because of the taxi.

Well situated hotel, staff very pleasant, bar a bit pricey from down the road, but what do you expect - that is quite normal in hotels. Luxurious furniture etc., etc., very nice room - 7th floor, bathroom very spacious and all very clean.

Top Local Tips for Prague

Transport Please ask for transfer from the airport to hotel before your arrival.

Best Places to Eat If you stay in Prague there are two places you HAVE to eat: The first is 'Zvonice' (one of the oldest bell taverns in the country). Best views and unbelievable cousine (especially for those very hard to please eaters- this food will blow your taste buds away). Very romantic atmosphere. The second place is 'Aromi' - it's a little hidden but worth the walk. The best Italian cousine and atmosphere in Prague. E-mail for more info:

Charles Bridge and surrounding area Either visit early in the morning, or better still as the sun sets - the views are amazing, and there aren't as many people around.
