Top Local Tips for Prague

Marionettes,public transport, safety Definitely go and see a marionette show as Prague is the marionette capital, I saw Don Giovanni at the national marionette theatre just off the old town square and it was very very good, a must for all tourists young and old. Get a 7 day public transport pass it's well worth it. I only needed to get one taxi in 7 days. If you like staying out late, pay to get into a club or find a bar that is open late as it is not advisable to stay out late in Prague.

Trams Trams - Make sure you buy a ticket from a kiosk as there is no onboard conducter or payment machine. They regulary spot check trams and there can be a heafty fine. We found this out by chance from a tour guide after we had spent a good few days travelling around for free. The very next day we were checked but luckily had bought tickets.

airport transfer Try CADEZ minibus company which are very cheap or AAA taxis at the airport,make sure you get a quote.
