Top Local Tips for Prague

Pre book your transfer from home before you go Private transfers booked through the hotel are advisable as ordinary Taxis are roumoured to tend to rip you off. Ours was there as soon as we left the departure lounge ,the driver spoke perfect English and was helpful during our short journey. The return journey was again on time and the driver was interested to hear our views on Prague.

Great Walking Tours Great English language walking tours are offerred by Discover Prague (phone +420 777 812 278 or see website at www.discover-prague.cz). Our guide was very knowledgable, spoke excellent English, and was enjoyable to talk with. Small tour groups provide excellent attention from the guide.

Get a Guide Get a local guide through the local tourist office located in the main square. The private guides are well worth the price. My sister and I went on a walking tour with Milu?e Jane?ková, a 60-ish Czech woman, who lead us to many great places we'd never have found on our own, pointed out some further places to visit on our own, and told us so much about Prague, its history and current situation. Excellent!
