Very friendly staff, rooms were very big and clean and breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed our stay in city bell and will strongly suggest it to others.

Prepare for some language barrier You may notice that while some of the people in the service business speak quite good English or other languages, it is really not a norm, so take some time to learn at least some useful words in Czech, such as the basic greeetings. Some who don't speak much English appear to find themselves in an uneasy and annoying situation when approached in a foreign language. In some cases when English was of no use, knowing a little bit of German proved helpful. Overall the scale of responses you may get from a person in the service business may be quite a bit wider than what you may be used to, ranging from quite rude or indifferent to very helpful and warm, so don't make too much conclusions based on your first few experiments.
