Very near the centre with very good public transport. Hotel was clean quiet and friendly. Were not troubled by noise and there was a comfortable bar area.

On arrival we were given the key to our room but when we went to put our luggage in the room had not been cleaned from the previous occupant. We went back to reception and they found us another room. This would have been fine except we had requested same floor rooms with our friends and we were then put on different floor. Bit of a hassle.

Top Local Tips for Prague

To / From Airport We followed advice and cos there were x5 of us we used the Cedaz (minibus)service to get to hotel from Airport - the girl at the airport Cedaz desk was unhelpful.Went outside to get into minibus and driver never spoke and there was a random strage guy just sat in the vehicle with us all the way also not speaking. Coming back we agreed a price with a larger taxicab on the streetwhich was 200 korun cheaper than before and the guy could not have been more delightful - even making a little whistlestop detour to take us to see the castle cos he didn't want us going home without having at least seen the panorama of his city from the Castle walls. Don't bother with Cedaz use the cabs and negotiate a price before getting in.

Prague Castle Definitely make the walk to this absolutely stunning castle! It is huge and the architecture is amazing!

Trams Go on a bus tour round Prague and then go to places which interest you. Make sure you know where to find tram tickets and how to use them as fines are expensive if found with no/wrong ticket. Trams very frequent.
