For a central hotel at a good price, I don't think that you can do better than Elysee. It is right on top of the new town square and only a short walk from all of the main attractions. Although it is built on top of a shopping center the rooms are quiet as well as clean, spacious and if you are there for the Christmas Fair - more importantly warm. Breakfast is served round the corner in a small restaurant and is an average buffet. The staff were very helpful and all spoke excellent English.

Very central location within walking distance of most sites. Situated in small shopping center/area, which requires opening at night time for you to enter!! The rooms are quiet large and are clean/newly decorated. Restaurants associated with hotel are in the shopping facility. Overall it is a quiet, clean and comfortable hotel in the center of Prague.

Top Local Tips for Prague

Prague Airport Shuttle We used a company called Prague Airport Shuttle to take us from the airport into Prague and also for the return journey. They were waiting for us on arrival and were on time for the return journey. Their website is very user friendly and the driver gave some excellent tips on Prague we would definetly recommend them to anyone visiting Prague.

Try the subway and street cars Try the subway and street cars! Study the maps and give them a try. You can buy extended passes very cheaply!

Watch your bag! We saw two men running away from a crowded market clutching someone's wallet.
