Transportation from airport or nearby city We called the hotel about possible transportation form Dresden to the Hotel. We were given the cell phone number of their usual driver and advised to call. I no longer remember his name but we called him directly from the US and he was happy to pick us up at the Dresden Airport (where the flight from the US was $500 a ticket cheaper). He was present when we emerged from the baggage area with a sign with our name. He drove us directly to Domus Henrici across the German border (no problem) in about an hour. Wonderful scenery and a pleasant excursion. Cost at that time was $100. We took the train back a week or so later. Both were pleasant experiences.
