Yes, this is an out-of-town hotel; and no, it is not especially near the airport ... but the tram service every few minutes into the centre of Prague is superb, the place is generally quiet and clean and the staff helpful. Beds not exceptionally comfortable (met worse) and breakfast more than just standard continental breakfast. Good value.

This hotel was billed as the "comfort inn Prague airport," it was not anywhere near the airport (a $15 taxiride away unless you took the only taxi they would call which cost $20). In fact it was near nothing but slums. We were looking for an hotel with easy access to the airport and were very dissappointed. Additionally, The food tastes like airplane food (and there is nowhere close by to eat), the beds are literally thin mattresses on slabs of wood, and everything is dirty. I have stayed all over Europe and Asia and never had a worse experience.

Lets start with the nice things:
comfort hotel is not to far from the airport but is in the middle of nowhere and you must catch a normally busy tram everywhere you go its takes about 20 minutes to get to centre of praha everywhere in the hotel is clean and service is good.bathrooms are clean and rooms are cleaned everyday. Town is nice some really good sites to view. Bad points:
Not much choice for food its always chicken and potatoes (which to me taste like fish) no main breakfast just cereal and jamsome staff are quite rude and are always moody.
We had a problem on are floor with children aged 16-18 smoking,banging on doors,playing football on corridors and playing music loudly.Hotel did nothing about it so we had to put up with it until they left. Overall hotel is clean and the sites are good but i would not recommend this place as brilliant to stay at. I was there for 5 days and have not been impressed.

Spend a Krona! Always carry plenty of small change with you for public toilets. They're often 'staffed' by some old woman who expects a payment.

Tram travel Travel in Prague by tram is cheap and widespread. Tram tickets can also be used on buses and on the metro. Flat rate tickets are valid for a specific time period, not for specific journeys.Ticktes only become valid once they are stamped on the tram. If you do not stamnp your ticket you face a heavy fine if caught. Beware of pick-pockets when boarding a tram at rush hour.
