Very nice hotel, 5 mins from centre and very quiet.

Booked the Bellagio after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. Like another fellow traveller, the taxi driver took a few minutes to find the hotel, probably due to it being recently refurbished, from the look of it. Very nice hotel, the rooms were very clean and decorated very nice. The great thing about this hotel is that it was very quiet and 'tucked away', yet only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Prague. If I visited Prague again, I would definately stay here again. The staff were also friendly and polite. If you do not want to be literally on top of the action, this is a fantastically placed hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the Bellagio from 6th-10th June, 2004. Athough our room was at the rear of the hotel and overlooked other buildings, it was spacious and the fixtures and fittings were of the highest quality. The hotel was immaculate throughout and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The owner made himself known to us and also gave us a bottle of 'champagne' because I looked hot and bothered on our return from the market he had directed us to. The breakfast was very good by Continental standards. We shall return!!!

What a fantastic hotel.Myself, my partner, my brother and sister in law went to Prague for 4 nights to celebrate my 40th birthday. The hotel is in an excelent location just 5-10mins walk from the old town square. The rooms are quite large, well fitted out and very clean. The staff are very helpfull and friendly, in fact the duty manager gave us a bottle of champainge and 4 glasses on the day of my birthday as a way to apologise when the receptionist accidently gave me confirmation of a fancy restuarant that my partner had booked as a suprise!!!
We all plan to go back to prague soon and we will definately be going back to this hotel.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel in May 2004. My impression ( which my wife doesn’t share very much, to be completely honest) is that this hotel doesn’t deserve 4 stars. It looks more like a pension then a hotel and the breakfast ( that is included in price ) is very primitive. The stuff is very friendly and trying to be helpful though. The location is not prime but quite good in a walking distance from the town center. The next time in Prague I would be looking to stay at a better place.

My wife and another couple spent a fantastic weekend at the Bellagio in Prague. The location was easy to get to on public transport and once there you were close by lovely views of the riverfront and lots of atmosphere and history in this the historical Jewish area. With plenty places to eat and drink near by and an easy walk to most of the main tourist areas we found the location excellent. The hotel was very nice and the staff very friendly. When I return to Prague I will be contacting the Bellagio first.

I stayed in the Hotel Bellagio for three night's with my family in the lovely 5th floor suit. Beautiful rooms, wonderful staff, the cook even made dinner for my children after their own requests. Very close to all the major tourist attractions but at the same time very relaxed and quiet. Prague is a wonderful city to visit with children and Hotel Bellagio the perfect place to stay.

Great hotel. Great service, Centrally located, within walking distance of all the main sites. I can highly recommend this hotel. Next time I'm in Prague I'm staying at the Bellagio

Just to echo the other reviews here. Fantastic location in the quieter, less touristy Jewish Quarter but less than 5 minutes from the old town square.Great value and understated, tatseful decor. Very friendly staff. we will be back and can highly recommend it to anyone

Top Local Tips for Prague

Avoid The Square for eating out. Look a few streets back from the main tourist attractions, usually the best resturants are the 'locals' places to go!

AAA Take a yellow cab wherever you need to go, they don't screw you.

Take Czech Currency When we arrived at the airport in Prague we were shocked that Czech currency was required for transportation from the airport to the city. Make sure you have it with you to avoid problems.
