Top Local Tips for Prague

Economy travel At the airport buy 75 minute ticket for 50 pence! Take the 119 bus to it's terminus at Dejvika. Then change to Metro A Green (follow the crowd!). Get off at Nemesti Miru and look (or ask) for Amerika. At other times buy a 24 hour ticket for 2 GBP and investigate the public transport system.

Pickpockets - Metro Our first experience of the Prague Metro was not a good one, it is clear that pickpocketing is rife. At our first stop, we were pushed by a group of driunk men, one of them then tried to steal items from my back pocket (luckily it was only my Prague guidebook) and tried to take my girlfriend's handbag. They were as bold as brass and didn't even try to conceal their criminal actions. My advice would be not to under estimate the warnings given.

St Nicholas church It is the most amazing building. Well worth a look just for the sheer scale and overwhelming-ness.
