Top Local Tips for Prague

Lots of attractions - Very impressive Wear flat shoes if a female, towards the winter period wear a hat/scarf and gloves. Move away from the main tourist areas, you find some nice authentic resturaunts. Spend 4 days and dont cram it all into two because your feet will suffer. Buy a 3 day ticket, or 7 day tickets, they are cheap and very cost effective. When you get your ticket, make sure you get it stamped on the first mode of transport - ie tram, bus or metro. You will see a small box with a yellow flashing arrow, put it in and it time stamps it

Charles Bridge Charles Bridge was very crowded most days. We tried to go later in the day, to try to avoid this, but it always seemed crowded! There is also construction/repair work going on on one end of the bridge, narrowing the entry way. Be very careful and wary of people around you and your belongings in this area.
