Great hotel for mid-range budget

We stayed at the Anna on the second leg of a 4 part european honeymoon and it was perfect for us. The hotel was a great value, cute, nothing fancy. I would definitely stay here again. It is a fairly short walk to the city center, the only downfall being that it is uphill on the way home :-)
The metro train station is close, the neighborhood safe and fairly quiet.
If you want to save some money but still stay at a hotel with charm, the Anna is for you.

Take a Pass on the Dependance

If Hotel Anna offers you a room in the Dependance, go elsewhere. The dependance/annex is about a block and a half from the main hotel, with NO services, and no ambience. Rooms look pretty modern, but there is no main door security, no telephone, and no shower curtains (you have to shower sitting in the tub unless you want to get the whole bathroom wet). Also, you have to figure out where the timed light switches are in the hallways, and then the auto-sensor didn't even work in the hallway where my room was. I would have rather booked an apartment, and at least had my own kitchen, refrigerator, etc. I was honestly disappointed.

Just returned from Prague having stayed in the Anna Hotel for 3 nights.Very friendly staff.Rooms neat and clean.Praque is a beautiful place to visit. Enquire how to use and buy a travel ticket (a must have) can buy 24hour for 70 krowns travel all over all day BRILLIANT.The Red Barron restauarant close to hotel ( Very good) but you will not be dissapointed wherever you eat. Try the traditional dishes Goulash and dumplings and the Black Beer is heaven.There is so much to see and do wish we had stayed longer.

After reading the many positive reviews for the Anna hotel on tripadvisor, I couldn't help but book it for a week for my Prague vacations.
And I'm glad to report everthing is true...
Staff go out of their way to make guests feel at home.
From the comfortable rooms to delicate breakfast. What to add? I was feeling like at 2nd home there Location is good, just a few minutes by public transport to the centre. Highly recommended.

A small hotel with a family atmosphere, clean and quiet location. I
spent few days in this hotel because of the business and I will definitely
come back again. Excellent service and very nice staff!

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and were very pleased with every aspect of our stay.Hotel is well situated in a great part of town, the rooms are nice and clean and the service outstanding. Cleaners are friendly, reception staff are helpful and speak very nice English and German

Who is looking for the accommodation near the historical city center of Prague try Anna hotel. Hotel is apx. 10 mnts. from Venceslas square and the price of the accommodation is lower than in the historical area and provide comparable service.
I will definitely return to this hotel.

Hotel Anna is a lovely hotel just few minutes walking from the Wenceslas square. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful. I will recommenend it to my friends.

Stayed at Anna hotel 4 nights in the middle of November. Everything was
exceptional from the supplied taxi from the airport to the room and helpful staff. The only negative aspect was that first receiving a twin room instead of a double, but receptionist was very helpful and changes it for last 3 nights. It is within walking or metro (Namesti Miru) distance of some wonderful restaurants, our favorite being Radost - vegetarian restaurant near metro stop IP Pavlova. The room itself was silent at night even with the windows open. I would recommend this family hotel to everybody.

Taxi The hotel offers the airport taxi which costs only 580,-CZK. If you contact them they will arrange you also a taxi to pick you up at the airport.

transport You can order a hotel taxi for 580 (very reasonable and fixed price).If you choose just a regular Prague taxi from the airport (as we fools did )you can pay up to 1000 or even more.Or you can take a bus 119 and then the subway-green line to the station Namesti Miru.

Getting around the city centre Buy the multi-day travel tickets from a metrostation - then getting around on the excellent public transport (metro and trams) is cheap and easy.
