Top Local Tips for Liberec

Reliable high quality international cuisine. I strongly recommend the Living Restaurant on Sokolská 1365. It's slightly out of the town centre but as the town centre isn't big anyway, you're not going far. Excellent food with varied menu for those who have been travelling for a while and are bored of Czech cuisine. Also got a good winelist including some excellent Czech vineyards.

taxi from Prague airport This hotel arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport. Lovely man who had to wait a long time for us because my husband's skis didn't arrive on time. He drove us straight to the hotel, about a 2 hour drive. It was pricey but definitely worth every penny. Would have been much more expensive if we had hired transportation from Prague to take us up to Liberec.
