On first arriving, you are shocked and wonder how long you are going to stay here. The hotel is completely unique and it really grows on you. Every wall inside and outside is painted with ancient roman murals, there are large mirrors also on the walls giving the rooms an almost 3-d effect. The bedroom is the same, a massive king-size bed, roman effect furniture and a full-length mirror facing the bed. It really is a lot to take in at once. The pool area is one of the best I have seen, once again roman murals on the walls and trellis covered in flowers all round the pool. There is a pool bar and at night, the area is transformed for the evening buffet meals, a really romantic setting. the hotel was one of the cleanest I have been in and the easiest to make friends .I should say that because it so over the top in every way it may be too much for some people, but for us it was a very unusual but nice experience.
