This was our 6th visit to this hotel and the two week holiday was just superb. The staff including Karen on reception and Mohammed in the dining room/bar were exceptional and just could not do enough to help. The apartment was very clean and spacious. A maid service was provided every day except Sunday and the linen and towels were changed very regulary. Breakfast (continental) was quite basic but the evening meals were varied. There was always a good choice and the portions were quite generous. Another benefit of staying is that the hotel has it's own car hire service which is extremely good value. I would readily recommend this hotel to anyone and we have already booked for May 2007.

we have just come back from the paphiessa apartments and can say with all honesty that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. all members of the staff from cleaners bar staff and management were friendlt and helpful and could not do enough for you. we will definately be going back again later this year or next summer

Had a wonderful time when we stayed here. Got married whilst there. Staff is lovely and food was excellent. Going back again for our 1st anniversary.

Spent some holiday periods in the Paphiessa from 1997 to 2000. The food was to say the least, atrocious and no amount of complaining improved it at all. Changed hotels to the Nereus, a vast improvement.

Top Local Tips for Paphos

Pavements Do not spend time gazing around in Paphos, keep your eyes on the pavements, they are death traps. The authorities there remove paving stones to plant trees for decoration, but forget to plant the trees in parts. I was gazing and went over on my ankle very badly smashing my hip and elbow in the process. My ankle and foot went black and blue for over a week.

Good bus service Use the buses only £0.80 Cypriot cents for every trip .A good clean regular service with friendly drivers.Or hire a car from £10.00 Cypriot pounds and that includes insurance.They also drive on the British side of the road so all cars are right hand drive.
