Superb allround fare

We visited with a group of 35 in February 2000 for 3 weeks. We had a wonderful holiday with all that one could ask for with excellent service,food and comfortable accomodation. The weather was also very kind, it enabled us to wear shorts for the whole of the stay,just needed a light jumper during some of the evenings. When visiting Cyprus & Paphos in particular on several occassions since
we , have always saved time to visit Paphian Bay for drinks and a snack.We have therefore witnessed the road improvements and also the upgrading of the beach,the swimming pool and of course various other things. We are delighted to have booked again with two of the original group for the spring of 2007 when I am sure that we will receive the usual warm welcome from all the staff. Thank you all and we look forward to seeing you again. If there were a rating of 12 it would get our vote!

We stayed in Paphian bay for a second time in December 2003 and look forward to going back this year again
We found the hotel excellent value for money. The food was very good and varied and the service was courteous, polite and very helpful

Thanks to all the Paphian Bay Hotel for making our stay so nice! Our wedding at the hotel was absolutely wonderful and we now have such lovely memories to cherish for the rest of our lives!! The food was excellent as was the service!

A super hotel set in beautiful surroundigs with very friendly staff. Great food served all day indoors or out by the beach which is private and lovely. The rooms are spacious and very clean.The harbour is a short bus ride which stops just outside. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, i took two young children and they loved it as did I.

Top Local Tips for Paphos

cheap travel i would reccommend taking the bus its cheaper than hiring a car!

Buses Do as a previous reviewer suggested and turn right when exiting the main hotel entrance and pick up your bus there - one price fares no matter how far you go - No 11 to Paphos Old Town 70c or No 15 80c all the way to Coral Bay, excellent value.

Tip about Paphos. If you can hire a car, via the rep at the hotel hotel it is very easy, cost us £63Cyp for 2days hire,could have got it cheapr from else where up the town but only by a few quid and it wasn't worth the hassle, We've been to Cyprus 6 or 7 times before and we've found that this was by far the easiest way of hiring a car... If you can, go to Nicosia, its about an hour and a halfs drive from Paphos but well worth the time, keep going up the motorway and head for Town centre, when you literally cant go any further (onto the tiny back streets, one car width wide) look out for any of the car parks, should be no more than £1Cyp for all day... If you can also go to Protarus and head for the 'Famagusta View' Viewing area ( its well signposted with big home made signs ),we spent about 3hours here talking to one of the families that got caught up in the conflict, a very interesting few hours and left with a lump in the throat...
