We have just returned 2 weeks at this hotel. Our room on the 3rd floor was overlooking the tennis courts and the sea. We had the sun on the balcony from sunrise to midday and nice shade for the hot afternoons. We had heavy rain for the first few days in Paphos and heavy snow up in the troodos mountains but it changed to very hot by the second week. The hotel is in a great position 30 minutes stroll to the harbour or by bus every 15 minutes. The rooms are clean and a good size . The first impression of the restaurant we had at breakfast was of a works canteen, tables without tablecloths, but this was transformed for dinner at night into a top class dinning room serving a good selection of food. The Bar staff were "Excellent" very smart and polite
The animation team were active all the time with games and quizes most of the day. At night there was Show Time with music and dancing also Special Artists brought in.
The only problems were at the weekend when we had parties of locals staying and they caused problems for other guests by singing and running round until 05.00 a.m.
Our 2nd week coincidered with school holdays and as most guests were over 60, we and many others thought that this could be made into a very good Adult Only Hotel.

We have just come back from our second visit to this hotel which is excellent in most areas. The food is fabulous, the views are fabulous, the staff are helpful and pleasant. The hotel was clean and the bedroom was serviced regularly. Plenty of clean towels and bedding. Faults were fixed quickly after reporting. The only comment I would make is that the bedrooms are looking tired and could do with a makeover. We will definitely go back to the same hotel. The locals are very friendly and helpful and the island is english friendly. Everyone speaks english and even drive on the same side. We even tried car hire this time.
A wonderful holiday all around. Can't wait to go back.

We went to the hotel to get married. We were in a big group of adults and kids the wedding was handled without any problems and it was the best day ever all the staff came to see us we felt like royalty. The rest of our stay was excellent. The entertainment team were the best!

Room was ransacked by thieves, cash, ipod and video camera was taken. The cleaner knew the 2 people involved and although spoke to us all week could not speak English when the police turned up. The manager was totally un-interested and even suggested we had done it ourselves, even though their own maintenance guy said he saw someone trying to climb out of the window. The police promised to come back the day after with a crime report and have never appeared again and we now have even thought that they were part of the gang because there is no record of the incident anywhere. If you use this hotel please beware because it has totally ruined our holiday, and not even an apology.

We were attending a wedding recently and stayed at the Louis Imperial Beach Hotel, Cyprus. Although I personally did not have my room ransacked, unfortunately the Bride and Groom did. There was a large amount of money and belongings taken and to say they were devasted is an understatement. However, no apologies were forthcoming from the management on duty at the hotel that evening and in fact the manager raised his voice telling our friends to keep quiet so that other holiday makers at the hotel would not hear. It was definitely an inside job with previous staff who spoke broken English, suddenly suffering from Amnesia unable to speak a word of English. Furthermore, staff entered our room approximately 3 times a day unannounced, which made it very difficult to gauge when they were going to turn up next, which is not something we have encountered elsewhere and our balcony window was forever left open wide by the cleaning staff. Overall, our very expensive holiday, turned out to be the most horrendous to date and I now have no wish to ever return to this hotel or this country again.

I recently stayed at The Louis Imperial Beach for one week with some family members. We took three rooms in total. What would have been a lovely holiday was completely overshadowed by the theft of my digital camera from a drawer in my bedroom. Other than myself, only the hotel staff had accesss to the room. I immediately reported the theft to the staff at reception, then the Hotel Manager, and then the Police, but no attempt was made to interview any of the staff who had been in my room in my absence eg : the cleaners, mini - bar attendants etc. In fact, I got the impression that they were convinced that I had left the camera somewhere, but I can assure you that it never left the bedroom drawer. Later, the clothing in my step - daughter's room was disturbed, as if someone had been rifling through it in search of items of value. From that time we hung "Do Not Disturb" signs on our doors to keep the staff out of our rooms. I think this Hotel has a problem. I have been visiting Paphos for 20 years. This was the first time at this Hotel, and I would never stay there again.

We have stayed several times, but not in 2005, but found that on our recent stay, cutbacks appears to have taken place in that towels and linen in bedroom needed replacing, being very small and thin. Entertainment in the past has been excellent with fashion shows, jewellery, musical entertainment every evening, especially in the Fontana Bar.
Also a good number of people were taken ill including my husband, and even taken to hospital with diarrhoea and vomiting, which obviously spoilt several days out of the holiday.

We first visited this hotel on our honeymoon, some 14 years ago. Then it was a classy hotel for couples and older visitors. When we saw it had become a family hotel we had to go back with our daughter and we were not disappointed. The hotel's attention to service is second to none. I had cause to make a small complaint about the cleaning of my room and was invited to discuss the matter with the manager. When I got back to my room a fruit basket and bottle of wine were waiting as way of an apology. The food was marvelous and of such a variety that even my fussy daughter found something to eat at every sitting. The animation team were fantastic - special mention to Daniela who kept my daughter entertained at Mini Club (she named a teddy bear after her) and Mimo who was cheeky and hilarious. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Paphos is wonderful and the Imperial Beach it a great place to stay while you are there.
