The entrance and main lounge to this hotel are well presented but the bedrooms and dining room are in need of refurbishment. The food was good with plenty of choice and the staff were great apart from the receptionist who was very rude. Am going again to Pathos but will be going to a differnet hotel until the rooms in this one are refurbished

I disagree with Eddie, I have been using this hotel with my husband for several years, each year it has got better, there has never been any problems getting chairs and it's great that there is lots of shade provided as well. The pool is one of the best I have used at a hotel for swimming. Staff are so friendly and helpful, food is great, beach is sandy and attractive, the walk to the harbour is great for an after dinner saunter and buses frequant if necessary. We certainly intend to use it again and agree with its 4 star rating. Bathrooms are not big but how big do you need it? It is certainly adequate. Valerie

I agree with Eddie. This is a Cyprian 4* not an English so don't get your hopes to high. Firstly the bad points. Having booked this holiday many months in advanced and booked full price, we discovered that on arrival we were very disappointed to find we had got a side view room facing... a wall. When consulting reception we were told that if we wanted a sea/pool view room, we would have to pay extra. (Even though at the travel agent we did give her that request) As the holiday went on, we found numerous people who had booked the holiday only weeks in advanced and not paid the full price we did, getting sea view rooms which were not requested anyway. As for the rooms, they are need of a little redecoration. The bathroom is tiny and the shower is awful to try and work. If you want to watch anything different other than sky news then be prepared to pay. In all fairness, the maids do a great job and the rooms are clean. Be prepared to pay for your safe and there's no alcohol in the mini bar! Also, be prepared to get up early to put your towel down. Although this wasn't a problem during the start of our holiday, it was at the end. People getting in a mood if you took the spaces etc so in the end it was first come first serve! Beach was a little of a disappointment because it was full of pebbles and no sand. If you wanted to go in the sea you will face a mound of sea weed which is lying there. Phew. Now the good points. The entertainment staff are great and very funny and will keep you active through-out the day. The Cypriot staff are very friendly and helpful apart from maybe being a little too efficient sometimes (lol) when eating your last mouthful of food, your plate is then whisked away from beneath you! :) The location is fair, but it's a good walk to the harbour so a taxi maybe needed. Food is lovely and there's always a great variety. Good holiday overall but could have been better.

Well what can I say if the same Hotel was in the Uk then it would fail to impress!! Firstly the bad points. The Gym is awful its like a 1970s type and most of the kit doesnt work and no aircon phew, the beach though picturesque is made up of small pebbles so no sand castles for the kids and no lying on it or walking on it because they get everywhere. mini bar in your room contains no Alcohol! so no late drinks in your room then the childs bed is a fold out camping type which is ok at a camping site but you expect more for your 4 ****s dont you. the beer tap in the main loung is annoying it consistently gives you a pint of froth...
Now the GOOD Points The Entertainment Staff are fantastic always up for a laugh and joke shows are fun to the Cypriut Staff are always as greeks are helpfull kind and considerate nothing is too much trouble Cyprus is beautiful Paphos unspoilt and swimming facilities are top notch the Food is mmmmmmmmm georgeous a very good holiday then thanx

Top Local Tips for Paphos

Europcar - beware Do not ever rent a car from these people, they are rude and do not care about customers and customer service. Their slogan rent more than just a car - thats right you get a load of hassle to go along with it.

Complaints Make sure your complain in the resort and collect as much information as possible whilst there as it is very difficult when yoy get home. Make sure your holiday insurance is adequate.

BUS SERVICE USE THE REGULAR BUS SERVICE. IT IS VERY INEXPENSIVE AND RELIABLE. AIR CONDITIONING MAKES TRAVELLING OUT AND ABOUT QUITE BEARABLE
