The food was varied plentiful and tasty. The staff very friendly. I had read some very varied reviews before going and so was a little worried but I need not have. The swimming pools were lovely if thats what you like but the best beach was only a short bus journey along to coral bay. Our beach at the sea was a rocky area that had been made fairly flat by cement infill so that there was a safe walking/sunbathing area with access to a protected swimming area which was ideal for snorkeling just in front of St Georges hotel next door.

This is an excellent family hotel. Very clean. Hotel staff were polite but mini market staff were VERY rude. Food was excellent and drink was plentiful!!. The towel 10 euro deposit system was great as you had a clean pool towel every day. Entertainment was a bit cheesy at times which just made it even funnier!! Would recommend this hotel for a peaceful relaxing getaway.

I returned yesterday from a weeks stay at the Laura Beach Hotel (pronounced Lawra). I stayed there with my 2 children (10 and 8 yrs) and we loved it. The hotel is huge, and beautifully decorated throughout, all the staff are friendly and can't do enough to help you, the place is spotless, the views are amazing, the swimming pools are clean and big enough to never feel crowded (i counted 7 in total, inside outside and small childrens pools). We went all inclusive and food was served all day between 7am-10pm, the catering staff do an excellent job, and dinner must take them all day to prepare. Hot and cold/ healthy and not so healthy food is always available as well as a child menu, the food is beautifully presented and delicious, my children can be a bit picky but they tried all kinds of different food and i think it was the presentation that helped. At dinner there were several different choices of meals every night in the week we were there. The beach is a few metres away from the hotel and there is a beautiful lagoon to swim in, although it was quite deep in parts for children, we prefered the hotel pools. The animation team were great, there were lots of games organised, and the kids club song 'shake it up, shake it up' was very catchy. :-) My children liked the kids club 10-12 and 3-5 so much that we arranged trips so that we either left after the morning session or returned for the afternoon. The evening entertainment was great fun and different every night it was entertaining for children and adults, we especially liked the greek dancing and the guy who balanced 20 glasses and a wine bottle on his head. I used public transport, taxis were quite expensive but the bus was just as easy, the hotel seems to be located mid way between Paphos town/market and coral beach, with the harbour making the point of a triangle between them all. The bus cost 1 euro for children and 1.35 for adults and the stops for the Laura are right outside the hotel. The drivers were helpful and all knew the Laura and if you ask them they'll shout up the bus to tell you when you get there. At night the big red 'Laura' sign can be seen from a long way up the kings road and is a good landmark for getting ready to get off. I would highly recommend this hotel for value for money, service, location, and fun. I travelled in a group of 20 from the UK, with everyone staying at different hotels and although everyone was pleased with their accomodation the Laura did appear to have the most facilities and was also the best deal. We can't wait to go back and we will soon. I'd like to thank everyone at the Laura for making it a fantastic holiday for me and my children.

Just come home from the Laura beach and we all want to go back. This is a holiday with something for everyone. The children are treated really well and the service was great nothing was too much trouble. We wouldn’t say it was a four star but a very good three.

Fantastic place. Had a few reservations about visiting Cyprus, but well worth the visit. Everything about the place was second to non. The hotel staff, animation team all ever so polite and friendly. Fell in love with the views(they are so breath takingly beautiful) This holiday really spoilt me and i would definitely go back next year.. Spoilt for choice with the food too. Carvery nearly every night with as much fresh fruit and salad and veg as you could eat even the desserts were to die for.

First time to Cyprus, loved it going again September with the children, to look at organising our wedding at the hotel for September 2008, everything wonderful. Could look at little better evening entertainment but overall small price to pay for a fantastic holiday.
