rare buses and taxis Nicosia is a city where everybody is using their own cars to go wherever they want. Therefor there are only several old buses which pass very rarely and if you want to use a taxi you should call for one from the reception of the hotel since it's difficult to track one on the road.

Visit N. Cyprus Visitors to Cyprus should cross the border to N. Cyprus to witness that region. The actual border crossing is fairly spooky -- but the Turkish side is OK.
