5 star is relative, compared to Limassol 4 seasons or Amatheeus beach hotel the Appollonia beach hotel is far off ( 3 star max) . Not for business travellers, no wire less in the room nor any other proper business services provided. Not very high standard in cleaning, my banana peel was left in the room for my entire stay. Pieces of candy was on the floor when i entered the room and reamained until the day i left. Bathroom door painted white on one side, dripping white on the sides and dirty brown on the outside. Furniture is old and used not for people with allergies for sure. Air conditioning is a strange box ( relic) from the 70ies. the carpet is probalby there since the 70s as well. Staff is very friendly but not very fluent in english ( reception). Cocktail hour was a nice treat at least, and the pool are seemed nice.

My partner and I stayed at the Louis Apollonia for a week in Feb. What can I say? I was a great experience. The staff very friendly, Management all the time around the hotel observing and I have to say that is the first time I see that even though we travel a lot.
The food is excellent, service great, bar area nice and cozy. The rooms are a bit old but still clean, spacious with great view. On our arrival received bottle of a local wine and a basket with all kind of fruits.
The pool area looked nice but it was a bit cold to swim there.
Health club nice and indoor pool just great.
We will for sure go back to Louis Apollonia Beach Hotel.
Go there too. You will love it.

Stayed here a week before my 30th birthday, everything was EXCELLENT, especialy the cocktails! i loved the maid who brought the menus round in the evenings and left chocolates on your pillow! going back in a few weeks cant wait!

Top Local Tips for Limassol

Carnivals During our time there it was Carnival/Fiesta and we saw some fabulous carnival processions. If driving, need to get into Limassol early and be prepared not to be able to move your car for some time afterwards as there is gridlock because of streets being closed and extra pressure on car parks etc.

Atltantica Bay or Miramar Stay at the Atlantica Bay or the Miramar - modern, nice, beautiful hotels.

why do people think the english like chips with every thing? keep away from early and late in the the year as this is when the more elderly people tend to go and the hotels can look like nursing homes but they all look like they enjoy it
