Avenida beach hotel may not look as dazzling as some of the other larger hotels but the smaller setting and the extremely friendly staff make it a wonderful place to stay. The rooms did need some modernisation the last time i stayed but the prices reflect this. Again i cannot emphasis how friendly the staff where, the pool is just the right size and with the hotels relatively small capacity makes it the perfect family place. The beach however is not the best with many slippery and sharp rocks which led to two hospitilizations whilst i was there one broken leg and one very deep gash that led to blood poisoning, but as the island is small it is easy to drive to a better one such as curion bay. Overall i would definetely return but would hire a car to reach the better beaches.

I had read some bad reviews of the Avenida Beach hotel but when I arrived I thought it was a great place. It was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly!!!
