I just want to tell about Vergi. It is a lovely star** hotel. And the stuff isn't rude, they are the sweetest persons on the world. For example, when I had overslept, and had missed breakfast, they would go and get me something so I could eat anyway. And Yannis the maneger alway looked out for me and always with a smile. You don't see that kind of hotels very often. The staff of this hotel felt like family rather than staff.

Be forewarned, this hotel is not only a twenty five dollar cab ride from Larnaca into the middle of nowhere, the people at this hotel were so rude I decided to cancel my reservation early. For example, a friend was trying to find me and they told them that they had absolutely never heard of me and I had no reservation there, etc. I had a Cypriot friend call to cancel and they said it was taken care of with no hassel, only to then begin sending threatening e mails telling me that I must pay the full ammount of my stay. When I explained that their staff had approved the cancellation, they then tried to force me to pay by telling me that they would place me on a black list that would prohibit me from ever coming to Cyprus again. Worse even still, the notes were perhaps the most sinister and meanly worded that I have ever recieved. These people will take you for all you're worth, I would rather sleep outside than ever see this place again.
