We stayed at the Marina Hotel in Ayia Napa towards the end of October 2007. The rooms were clean and adequate, with the cleaners coming in every day. Although the facilities were basic, they were more than adequate. The Hotel itself, has ample facilities, and is very family orientated. It overlooks Ayia Napa bay and is about 400m from the beach. It is about 1Km from the town centre and convenient for local bus services. We found all the staff was warm and friendly, and if we had any requests, they were always willing to try to help us. Breakfast was a Continental Buffet style, but there was always plenty of choice available. The evening meal was again buffet style, with a mixture of local and continental dishes available. We always found something available that suited us, but were aware that you could change to packed lunches if you couldn’t find anything to your taste. The location is excellent, staff very friendly and great service to all guests. Price was value for money.

Great staff, service and location

My wife and I have been staying at this hotel for 6 years, we always go back and generally always have the same room. The staff and service is fantastic. The rooms are quite basic but have everything you need (including a fridge) if you want and are clean. Ayia Nappa is a great place and not like shown on the TV. The main square can get very busy after 12am but the many surrounding bars are not always as busy. There's something for everyone. I first went to Ayia Nappa and stayed in this hotel with 11 lads and we had a great time too. When I met my wife we went back every year. The hotel is about 1 km from the real busy night life, a nice walk or a short taxi ride with plenty of bars and resturants on the way. There's a nice beach about 5 mins walk away and a small shop for snacks and drinks out the back of the hotel. Can't fault the place. We book independantly and always phone the hotel to get our room. They speak excellent english and are always helpful and pleased to see us....... Read more

This is the third year we have stayed at the Marina, and it`s always great to see familiar faces of the staff who are kind and helpful and most entertaining, maid service exellent, very clean hotel.
