Don't get starved If you go to Zagreb during big religious holidays (eg Easter) be warned that 99% of the restaurants are closed, together with every other kind of shops. So, you'll have a very hard time finding something to eat.

Shops Most shops close on Saturday between 2 and 3 pm, and very few are open on Sunday. The market is open but then by afternoon some are closing up. Also very few credit cards can be used. this is mostly a cash country.
