Very Modern & Great Location!

This four star hotel is a must. The location is a 2 minunte walk to the train station and underneath the hotel is a shopping mall with a movie theatre and a couple very nice restaurants. The centar is also 5 minutes away by foot, where all the action is. Everything about this hotel is stylish and modern. Impress your guests at this hot spot.

Top Local Tips for Zagreb

Go some where else The guide book rated the local fruit and veg market as number 2 on the must see attractions - which says it all - there is not much here so I would go elsewhere or visit for a day only.

Bring your guidebook! I left my Lonely Planet on the train and had to make do with the 'pay to play' guidebooks available at the hotel. The sightseeing advice was fine, but restaurants in Zagreb are quite variable in quality and I ended up somewhere really mediocre that didn't live up to its description in the guide.

If you have the time i would definitely recommend taking a trip to see some of the other places close to Zagreb, all easily accessible by public transport (bus , train).Samobor is a quaint town about 1.5 hrs from Zagreb, Varzdin is a baroque village approx 2 hrs from Varzdin and the best attraction is the Plitvice National Park, a UNESCO site which has a fantastic hiking trail around beautiful acqua lakes with amazing waterfalls. If you are worried about taking public transport, there are a number of day tours offered, check at the tourist office in Zagreb in the main square for names of tour operators
